I made garlic bread!

Good afternoon, how is your Sunday going so far? Hopefully, you’ve not got too much to do so that you can relax! 🙂

Today we slept until around 09:00, quite late at least for me. 😛 When I got up I, as per usual, prepared some coffee and went outside with Kira, when I got back in I poured myself a cup of coffee and put some butter on some garlic bread that I made yesterday. It was really easy to make and tastes really good with butter, I forgot to sprinkle some salt on top before it went into the oven but I will remember that for next time. 😉

All you needed to make the bread was:

50 g yeast
5 dl of room temperature water
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp rapeseed oil
14 – 16 dl of flour

and for the garnish:

2 garlic cloves (we used 4)
2 tbsp rapeseed oil
pinch of sea salt

You mix yeast with water until it’s completely dissolved, then add oil, salt and slowly add the flour. Mix it all together and knead it to a fine dough and then leave it to rise under a towel for about 40 minutes.

Split the dough into two pieces and make two round, 2cm thick, “cakes” and cut them into 16 pieces and leave it to rise for another 20 minutes under a towel.

Put the oven on 250 degrees celsius, press the garlic cloves into a bowl and mix it with the oil. Brush the mixture onto the bread and put it into the oven for about 13 – 15 minutes. When you take them out you can let them cool off on a rack.

Today I tried filming myself solving the Rubik’s cube and here is how it turned out! 🙂 (I was quite slow because I didn’t get a good start and was a bit shaky from being filmed *ehrm excuses ehrm*)

Today Sandra has been and photographed her brother and has just come back home. We are soon going to eat and later today Sandra is going to be an official at a dressage contest not far from here and will be gone for quite long.
