Participating in Ludum Dare 41

Good evening to you all, how is your day going?

Today I woke up at around 8 in the morning and pretty much got up immediately. I had one lecture today at 15:15, before the lecture I watched series and played some PUBG with a friend, no chicken dinner today, unfortunately 😦

The weather was grey when I walked to school and still is. It was not too cold so I did not put on my scarf when I walked. On my way to school, I listened to a podcast, Ted & Kaj, two Finnswedes who are really fun to listen to. After the lecture, I had to go to the store and buy some groceries, bought some heat and eat meatballs with mashed potatoes. it was really tasty.

Once I got back home I ate and began watching some series. Now I am pausing the series and watching some Youtube videos instead. Sandras also called me on Skype when I got home, which was a lovely surprise.

Last week I spoke with some friends in school and they were going to participate in an event called Ludum Dare. It is an event where you make your own game during a quite short period of time 48 or 72 hours (depending on what difficulty you choose). I have participated in some older LDs some years ago which was a lot of fun since you need to quickly plan what you want to make and then implement it. You get to know the genre that the game needs to be shortly before the event begins, which makes it even more stressful, but that is the charm about it as well. I got thinking and I am pretty sure that I am going to participate if no problems occur when I begin implementing.

Here is the website if you would like to have a look: LudumDare

Now I am just going to chill for the rest of the evening. See you next time. Baii!
